I corresponded with John recently since his site received worldwide attention. I've been following this site for around 6-7months(somewhere in the middle of his first cutting phase) and have been very impressed. It was very motivational to see what John had accomplished especially during times when I was stalling in my loss or felt discouraged. I, like John, got most of my information about nutrition and fitness by scouring websites like bodybuilding.com.

I had much more to accomplish that John because, unfortunately, I had let myself become obese (300+lbs at 5'11") I was a lardass and hated to even be naked alone in my house my body was so horrendous. I could barely go for a 30minute walk when I first started (that felt like running a marathon!) Now, I'm down to 217. My resting hr is 57, I can do 4miles on the treadmill in 35minutes, my weight strength has gone up exponentially(I just deadlifted 275x6 tonight)

It is crazy how the website has exploded since it was posted on Fark.com! I must admit I am a bit jealous of John because now he is bound to become slightly famous in the web fitness community and make a tidy profit as well! John, you deserve it buddy!! I wish all the best for you(I only wish I had thought of it first, grrrr) :)

Congratulations on the weight loss. I started about a month ago.

John has been great inspiration. Big ups to John.

Great job on the loss yourself :). I have much more work to do aswell, I'm not going to be satisfied after I finish and continue with what I'm doing.

I hope you are documenting your progress, if only for your own gratification. Photos!

The weight you lost is almost a whole human beings worth. That is awesome.

Somehow I missed seeing your post before, sorry!

GREAT JOB!! I'm proud of you man, you've really made an amazing amount of progress.

And YES -- I'm making millions, and I've got a couple dozen nude supermodels lounging around my house just to help me count it all. I even make them do all my workouts for me now. Yes, THIS is what living is all about. I'd like to thank my abs for making it all possible.

Thanks for the kudos! I'm currently making nice strides in my regimen. I recently added HIIT on the elliptical to alternate with my longer treadmill sessions. My strength has been going up nicely in many exercises. I had a great leg day today and felt crippled as I was walking out of the gym! A sure sign a good workout was had! I squatted 365x4 today(almost parallel)

I was just kidding about the fame and fortune, but you are quite well known now! Hopefully the google ads will at least pay for your site and maybe put some $ in the pocket!

peace

Not even close, no one ever clicks them anymore (was not too bad for like 3 days, though).

I click on one every day man.

I know its probably only a few pennies, but I like to help you out! :tu:

Oh, btw, whenever I can get an old picture of myself when I was over 300lbs(this will be hard because I DID NOT like having my pic taken) I will scan it and put it up in the before/after section. I think many of you will be quite surprised :o
