Ive heard several different things about whey protein, but what is best to mix it with? Ive heard that if you mix it with carbs it works better, is this true? What does everyone have along with their whey?

You should have about 60% carbs in your post-workout meal, preferably a mix of both fast and slow digesting carbs I believe. If you are not talking about post-workout, then you can have it however you like, but it should be with at least carbs or fat. karate is correct. at a bare minimum, toss in a half-cup of ground oats. if you want to better assist your body in spiking insulin and helping shovel needed nutrients into your muscles, look at using dextrose |
