View Full Version : Still doing ok.
Ludvig78 May 19th, 2004, 04:34 PM I have been cheating so much lately. Took this picture 5 minutes ago after stuffing my mouth with 8 overfilled taco shells. Not getting that swollen anymore like I used to. I actually feel in better shape now when I am eating more. Maybe I should just stick to better food. Don't think I will be able to maintain what I have on tacos and beer. Ok I admit. I had beer too. ;)
Jimbo May 19th, 2004, 04:59 PM Have you considered the ABCDE diet?
Yep, you're looking great. In what way to you feel better? Do you think you were restricting calories too much before?
chicanerous May 19th, 2004, 05:44 PM Doing well. What do you do for your tan?
Ludvig78 May 19th, 2004, 06:34 PM Just hit the tan booth every second week. Don't like to do it to often. Drys the skin out.
Doing well. What do you do for your tan?
Ludvig78 May 19th, 2004, 06:36 PM I just think I have been hitting it too hard. Taking it down to a lower level for a while. Will try to do a serious fatlos diet before july and my vacations. As long as I won't hit the beach I don't need to do it. :) *lol*

uh dude? you ARE beach-ready IMO!
Trinity May 20th, 2004, 12:40 AM Of course "ok" is an understatement. You look really great! Are we allowed to give critiques? The only thing that doesn't look proportionaly to me are your pecs, but I'm being really picky. Any guy would love to have your body.
karatetricker May 20th, 2004, 02:53 AM Yeah that's prob the best shot I've seen of you. Any chance you can give an arm pose so I can see what your arms look like from the back?
Craig May 20th, 2004, 03:17 AM Any guy would love to have your body.
File me under that tag :D
Looking good buddy. It's working well for you. More pics please :)

I'd tend to agree with you on the pecs. It might be the pic, but you might wanna do some wristcurls etc as well, cause your forearms seems a bit small compared to your arms.
Looking back at your old pics, though, you've done an incredible job! :tu:
Ludvig78 May 20th, 2004, 05:35 AM Hi!
Thanks for the comments.
I know about the pecs issue, but I think is going better and better. Changed my routine a bit and added more hardcore press excersizes. I also think I might be a bit stiff in my pecs which has underminded the development. I will keep do the work and I think they will get there in a couple of months. ;)
About the arm thing. I have a genetical thing. Never really worked the arms much. What ever I do they grow. That might be why they look like they do. They are about 16 inch unflexed and abou 18,5 flexed. Even my fitness friends say the same thing as you. Here in Stockholm I am the arm and shoulders boy! :)

I know...I have the exact same thing with my legs and chest;)
I found that wrist curls and wrist curls behind the back, esp. the latter, are very effective for increasing mass in the fore arms. You should try that for a month or two and see what happens;)
Ludvig78 May 20th, 2004, 06:57 AM I will try that. Thanks for the tip. :)

Ludvig78 May 20th, 2004, 07:52 AM Thought I would a 8.5 months reminder. Startout and current status for newbies and oldies up in here. :)

Fy satan vilken skillnad! :)
Hoppas jag kan komma i närheten av ett sånt resultat efter att jag slutat deffa, när jag äntligen kan börja träna för att lägga på mig muskler istället. :tucool:
Reno_1ted May 20th, 2004, 09:52 AM Awsome mate !!!
What was ur BF in the first pic ?
With regards the pec thing, having BF makes ur pecs look bigger. Ill bet if most people dropped to 8.5% BF, there pecs would look smaller to. Thats not to say they dont need work, but i wouldnt say they look "out of proportion".

So it took 8.5 months from the before to the after pic ? What was your bodyfat when you started ? Did you mostly do cutting or cutting & bulking ??
I started at 26% BF :d_frown: and look just a tad further along than your before picture... Thats the reason for my intrigue :D . It's been damn hard work getting where I am, I'm just curious how much more it's going to take.
Good job :tucool:
John Stone May 21st, 2004, 10:57 AM Bah, you still look like crap. ;)
Seriously man, you look great and I can see improvements every single time you post your pix. Keep up the hard work!
Ludvig78 May 21st, 2004, 02:41 PM Thanks John. I have been hitting it hard last couple of months. Kinda taking it abit easier after all the hard work. Don't do as much cardio. Just concentrating more on the nutrition. Easier. Don't wanna overdo it when I don't feel as motived. Will just bring me down....

AWD_ENVY May 21st, 2004, 03:24 PM Any chance you can answer my question above ? :D
Nico May 21st, 2004, 03:35 PM Pretty awesome transformation. You've gone from above-average physique to beyond-ideal physique.
While I would like to look like you do, you've now reached the point where some 'average' people would think you're too ripped.
You probably really look like a freak in Sweden-not a real big bodybuilding scene over there.
How about some back shots by the way? were there any other befores?
Ludvig78 May 21st, 2004, 03:35 PM I started out around 15-16 procent bf but I did not start to diet until around 3 months ago. I like to diet in a calm pace. Don't like when my life stops and everything is about the diet. I like to live aswell. Extreme is not for me.

Ludvig78 May 21st, 2004, 03:38 PM Took this picture minutes ago. Someone asked for a back biceps flex and I tried my best. Think my back really sucks. That and the pecs are probably my worst muscle groups.... :(
Ludvig78 May 21st, 2004, 03:47 PM Added a back picture just after your post without even seeing the post. I have more of a fitness body then a builder body. We don't have alot of problems with overweight people. Its extremly rear to see a person over 300-400 lbs. I don't think I have seen one here in Stockholm as log as I have lived here. It's a growing problem thou but has not reached that extreme point. People are just average over weight I guess but I have to say that the swedish women are extremly good looking. Like a english writer once said " Even the not so beautiful once look damn good". :)
I have to say that this has not been such a hard journey for me. I just came home from macdonald and I have always had cheating days on the weekend. I stick to the diet monday to friday and let myself go on the weekend. I think my biggest drive has been my motivation. I have been motived to work out and have not really feelt that it's boring. I actually think lifting weights is rather fun specially after the first three months. I think that it what has helped me most. I will go down a bit more in bodyfat just do have that extreme look once but after that I will stay on the current picture mode. It's too hard and too strict for me to bother... ;)

corbint May 21st, 2004, 04:36 PM try to lift your elbows a bit more next time, and try to spread that back open wide! other than that, looks great man, good shoulder caps!
Lurifax May 22nd, 2004, 04:47 AM I think your back looks nice Ludvig. :) Are you still on the cutting phase? What did you eat on your fat loss?
I think you look great allready, not much to fix on your body.

Duckman May 22nd, 2004, 05:08 AM What can I say? Awesome! :tu:
Even with your awkward posture in that pic, I look like a wimp compared...and I don't consider myself as a weakling;)
Ludvig78 May 22nd, 2004, 08:21 AM Will try to work on that. Not a big poser fan. Goal is to look good without flexing. :)
Chim-Chim May 22nd, 2004, 10:02 AM amazing lats! You look great! I cannot believe what a transformation you have made!
Ludvig78 May 23rd, 2004, 01:38 PM Thanks chim-chim. Wish I could say I feel the same but I guess I got home court blind. I don't really think it's that good, but I am working on it. :)
amazing lats! You look great! I cannot believe what a transformation you have made!
Ludvig78 May 25th, 2004, 04:52 PM Will try to update with a new picture in about three weeks from now. Found some new motivation to get into the ripped dimension. Wish my luck people. :)
Lurifax May 26th, 2004, 03:30 AM Good luck Ludvig! Your as stubberd as a bull and that'll make you succeed! Your doing great! :)

Ludvig78 June 17th, 2004, 10:13 AM The last couple of lbs are the hardest one because the body doesn't want to give away too much fat. Tries to keep it once you start hitting 10% and below. Seriously looking forward to my 3 - 4 months bulk now. :)
