The September Warmup Rowing Challenge 2009 will be run in the
WaterRowerChallenge Yahoo group starting Sept. 5th, 2009. It's intended to be an easy warmup for those who took the summer away from their rowing machines. You'll need to have a waterrower SIII or S4 or a Concept C2 machine to take part and you'll have to join the WaterRowerChallenge Yahoo group. Here's
the announcement:
It's time for another water rower challenge after the summer recess. Fall iscoming fast, so lets get started rowing and see if we can cram in a few challenges before the Christmas break. For this challenge we will do a distance of 100 km between between September 5th and the end of the month, September 30th. As always there are conversion factors for those who row with water rower SIII or SIV monitors. Please post your results in C2 equivalent meters so that everyone can compare with each other. There's a sample record in the Distance
Challenge database to show what to put in the database.
Conversion factors from C2 are:
0.89282 for S4 -> C2
1.43960 for S3 -> C2
So if you went 6000 meters on your machine:
S4 => 6000 * 0.89282 = 5357 C2 meters
S3 => 6000 * 1.43960 = 8638 C2 meters
C2 => 6000 meters
Please post any questions to the WaterRowerChallenge Yahoo group if you have any.
Cheers, KS :nod:
