I know a lot of you out there have a very solid knowledge of how weight, BF and lean mass work with each other... Me... not so much.

What I am hopeing someone can help me with is this: I weigh 185 at 15BF%, 6'1" tall. so this means i have 27.75 lbs of fat on me? (yes that is a question :o)

Is it possible to calculate at what weight I will be at 10% BF? assuming I lose a realistic amount of lean mass along the way.. My diet and routine are pretty sound, as this isn't the first time I have cut. I am just borderline retarded, and can't even begin to grasp how I could do this.

Thanks in advance!

185 lb @ 15% BF means you have 157.25 lbs of lean mass and 27.75 lbs of fat.

If you want to know your weight at 10% BF, this means you'll be 90% lean mass, so 157.25 / .9 = 174.72 lb will be your bodyweight if there is no change to your lean mass. If you lose lean mass, you'll weigh slightly less than that. If you gain lean mass, you'll weigh slightly more than that.

thank you! I can't beleive how much sense that makes when you explain it like that... I really wish I had paid more attention in math class. damnit.

Anyways, the task at hand is to get to 10% BF.

then learn math.
