I came across this article and I thought I'd share it. It is the Top 10 Characters You Find at Every Gym. It's pretty crude, but very funny. http://www.brobible.com/Story/18808

View Full Version : Hilarious Gym Characters Post ZJC Tue, July 28th, 2009, 11:05 PM I came across this article and I thought I'd share it. It is the Top 10 Characters You Find at Every Gym. It's pretty crude, but very funny. http://www.brobible.com/Story/18808 JoeSchmo Wed, July 29th, 2009, 12:24 AM Yeah, pretty typical list -- I disagree about the "obese guy" though. I've seen some pretty fat people come into my gym and really get into decent shape over the course of a couple of years. Gym weirdo threads are always kind of entertaining, but believe it or not, I've gotten to sorta like the gym weirdos. Some of the strangest (and most entertaining) people i've ever come across I've met in the gym. My current gym is surprisingly free of weird people, but there is one guy I see riding on his bike around town. I mean, he rides everywhere. And then, he comes into the gym to ride the stationary bike. I don't really understand why he would ride miles and miles every day on his bike, and then jump on the stationary bike. Sometimes he comes into the weight room to circuit train. But the weird thing is, he always wears a windbreaker, a weight lifting belt, and spandex -- even when he is riding his bike around town. A couple of weeks ago, it was nearly 100 degrees, and this guy was riding up a hill wearing his windbreaker (and weight lifting belt). I'm surprised he doesn't die of heat stroke doing that strenuous exercise in godawful heat while wearing a coat. Maybe he didn't have anywhere to go, so he wanted to stay where he was? Rishi P Thu, August 6th, 2009, 12:51 PM haha nice read, def have those ppl at my gym! JoeSchmo Thu, August 6th, 2009, 10:13 PM Maybe he didn't have anywhere to go, so he wanted to stay where he was? Yeah, maybe. I actually like the guy -- I've had a couple of short conversations with him, but I haven't talked to him much. He is really all business when he is in the gym (a trait I admire). The constant wearing of the windbreaker and weightlifting belt though....even in 95 degree weather makes me wonder what the deal is. dejavued Thu, August 6th, 2009, 10:21 PM but there is one guy I see riding on his bike around town.
