Are these something ok to eat with a meal. I dont have alot of money(50 dollar a month food budget huzzah college) so baked beans are one of my staples.

Tue, May 18th, 2004, 09:16 PM I would suggest buying dry beans (bulk bin, or bagged), and add tomato paste to them (100% pure tomato paste, no added sodium, or sugar or junk like that). Just boil them up in a pot, and add the tomato paste. Can always add vegetables and spices to liven up the flavour.
