I know that alcohol and weight training don't exactly go hand in hand but, for many of us, there will be the odd occasion when we decide its time to lighten up and join in with a few drinks.
My question is, what is the best way to adjust my calorie intake that day to compensate for the alcohol intake.
My maintainence calorie level is 2100. Say I am going to drink 700 cals of alcohol, is it best to eat 1400 cals so that I reach a neutral intake/expenditure level, whilst keeping protein intake high?
