Ok, when I first started my weight loss journey, I was weighing myself every night. I then decided weighing in every night was a bit excessive, seeing as how I could gain or drop a pound or two depending on how much I ate or drank that day. So I started weighing myself every Friday afternoon, only once a week. A friend told me that I should weigh myself in the morning, right after waking up after going to the bathroom, that way there is less food in me seeing as how everything is digested, and the water is out. So should I weigh in in the morning?

Back when I was doing boxing training, my trainer told me to keep track of my weight every week, ( I weighed myself on Sundays as apposed to your Fridays, not that it makes a diffrence) but yeah he told us to do it in the morning before consuming the first meal of the day. I'd presume this is the best time because after a good sleep, as i'm sure you'll know, our bodys continue to burn fat, regenarate/build/recover new muscle tissue and most of all we sweat a lot in our sleep which contributes slightly to weight in a way.

Long way round for a short cut, but yeah i'd say the best time would be in the morning.

Yes, weigh first thing in the morning. If you decide you want to weigh every day (I do), I encourage you to use some sort of weight averaging system such as the one at physicsdiet.com.

i weigh myself daily as well. i think you just have to understand that your weight will fluctuate and you can't freak out if you go four or five days without losing (if you're trying to cut) or even have days where you go up. i guess i'm a little OCD but i plan on weighing myself daily from now on. i also weigh first thing in the morning but i have weighed myself before i go to bed it is pretty much always 2lbs more than my morning weight.
