I had mentioned in my journal on here that I wanted my training session to be a really butt-kicker... well it was!
After a breif intro, we hit the machines. He just wanted to show me his "cardio" circuit. First was the versa-climber. Its tucked into the back corner of the gym, I never noticed it before - somehow I doubt I'll ever miss it again ;). Then we hit the Cross-trainer (the elipticial type thing with arms). 4 different types of going on there - normal, arms only, snow-running and squating... OUCH.. I was so wasted after that (186 bpm sustained for about 4 minutes - much more then my lungs could handle) so we walked outside to cool down. Then we hit the arm-only ergometer... and man I never thought that thing could be so hard!!! I sustained 1000 rpm for 20 counts - for 3 different exercises (normal, backwards and inverted)
ALL of it was anarobicly chalenging... I'm sore today!
