Welcome to the forums!

... cut the CAPS. :)

From experience I find that protein from food stores lacks some nutrients and sometimes is packed with additives. If you're out of protein either buy some more or swap it out for eggs/chicken/fish until you have the extra cash to spare.

I have been using the protein during workout and after. The vanilla is good with half milk and water. I also add some yogurt.
The chocolate is good with half choclate milk and water. Eas is endorsed by NFL players, so it must be good. Load up at costco because they are discontinuing for another brand im my area. You still can find it at Sams Club.

Yeah, they already discontinued it in my area, and brought in something else I never heard of (sorry, can't remember the name). On the flip side, the new stuff comes in the same size and type of bag, which has me wondering if it's not the same stuff. I haven't tried it yet myself. Went with On stuff instead.

Costco is known for putting pressure on their suppliers, particularly to change from brand names to Kirkland, their store brand. It's highly possible that this is the same product, made by the same supplier, just with a different name. I don't think it was Kirkland though, but they may be trying to build a new "healthy" Costco store brand.

Anyways, it was the best deal out there, with decent taste to boot. I do prefer On's Double Rich Chocolate by far now, even if it is a bit more expensive (bought it off the internet).

the EAS stuff from costo tastes terrible IMO. Also it's a blend of whey, casein, and soy. some people don't care for soy protein. there's tons of articles out there for and against soy protein, so i would read up and decide which side of the argument you fall on. my personal recommendation is ON 100% whey.

I've tried protein from Wal-Mart and other health stores, I gotta say in my opinion that nothing stacks up to ON 100% Whey...It's palpable, it goes down well, and from my limited experience it's the greatest stuff out there...plus the guy at the GNC gives me sweet dealz...

Not a good way to chose a healthy product.

The BEST tasting protein I've had is Beverly. Granted I haven't had a whole lot. But I defintely think it tastes better than EAS. I bought some so I can have some in stock in case I run out of whatever protein I usually use.

A friend was telling me that EAS was pretty good back in the 90's. I didn't push the issue and ask what he thought happened to it.

I did like ON and it's pretty cheap compared to other brands.
