View Full Version : Should I buy cialis or horny goat weed?
massy6 Thu, April 16th, 2009, 06:56 PM Been doing allot of research for good treatments for my occasional ED:o and have heard that Cialis is the best if you want to go prescription but that horny goat weed is the best herbal alternative? Does anyone have any experience with any of these, not sure whether to buy cialis or just try the horny goat weed. Any input or other solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I think you should talk to your PCP, if not a urologist.

Thanks for the response guys, I will take your advice and ask my doctor next time. I did allot of research on Wikipedia and found allot of answers to my questions. Might still try the horny goat weed for I have seen them on sale at GNC :)
snevensmores Mon, July 27th, 2009, 07:17 PM Definitely speak with your doctor. I'm not familiar with "horny goat weed." I'm a certified EMT, though, and I will remind you that Cialis, Viagra, etc. will lower your blood pressure. That's how they work -- they dialate your blood vessels, thus allowing more blood flow into that "special area." Dialated blood vessels = BP drop. Keep that in mind if you typically have a low BP to begin with. Diet and exercise, obviously, also are key in boosting testosterone levels and aiding in sexual performance.
My advice -- don't go for a run after using any of this stuff. Might not be too safe and, outside of that, you don't wanna run with a "pitched tent." You might scare the children. :)
MannishBoy Mon, July 27th, 2009, 08:34 PM Have you had your testosterone levels tested?

Yeah, definitely worth a look. ED is a lot more common than most people realize, and many times it doesn't have to do with testosterone (though the OP didn't mention his age, which could be a factor). Worth checking out, though, which I'm sure the doc will.
Might just be pre-festivity jitters... it gets to the best of us!
Flex Thu, July 30th, 2009, 03:55 PM The supplement ZMA does wonders for this. If nothing is found by your doctor I would recommend taking a Zinc supplement. ZMA is loaded with zinc, and zinc is an aphrodisiac (Oysters are loaded with zinc, which is why oysters are known as an aphrodisiac!). My girlfriend can't be happier :D. ZMA will also help your lifting.
