For some reason a couple of days ago, I got a "kink" in my back, left side close to my spine, about 3 inches down from the shoulder blade but closer to the spine. It spans about 3 vertebrae.
I think I got it because at night I am often lying on my right side propped up looking at my computer that is on a chair by my bedside.
At least it hurts more when I go to the position. (So I won't be doing that again any time soon.) I don't believe it is at all the beginning of any herniation -- it does not feel like any nerve is being pressed. (I have had a lot of experience with herniated disks.)
There are no shooting pains; it just feels like a knot. I have tried rubbing it out myself. I have used a BioStim Tens unit (http://www.medicaldelivered.com/biostim-m7-tens-p-34153.html?osCsid=43337bf04b613dc915e37f67e9216193 )
left over from my last disk herniation.
My PT and his office is booked up for days.
Anyone have any suggestions how I can work this out myself? (I would rather not go to the PT if possible as it cost me 2 hours of time altogether -- and I just don't have that time to spare.)
