According to a recent article I just read Tribulus has been touted for years as a natural testo enhancer in in older males. (The studies show it has no effect on young healthy males).

However:- You'd better read this if you have man-boobs ...or as it's known-- - - -Gynocomastia.

The Russians were the ones to promote the fact that Tribulus enhances testo (years back).

Studies they did (poorly controlled) showed in clinically-low testo males a 72% increase in Luteinizing hormone with a 40% rise in testo.

What they neglected to mention was that there was also an 81% increase in Estrogen!

And there has been more than one case where a male taking Trubulus supps triggered a case of Gynocomastia.

Later Western research did not get many positive results.

Castrated rats still experienced a 52% testo increase when fed
Tribulus intravenously.

Rabbits showed a 32% increase in undesirable DHT.

Later Western tests on weight-training subjects and rugby players using placebos and tribulus showed no difference bewteen the groups and no rise in testo.(Theyt did not mention the age of the subjects though).

As far as Tribulus goes....the Chinese and east Indian types are the weakest....Bulgarian is the strongest. Based on the Protodioscin content
which is the active ingredient in Tribulus.

So if you're a young man...you most probably don't need it.

And if you are taking it......be aware of it's ability to jack up Estrogen!

Any time you raise test, you also raise estrogen and DHT (unless you take aromatase inhibitors and 5-alpha-reductase inhbitors).

Yep...but the numbers sound a bit skewed to me...42% testo raise---81% estro raise..

That doesn't sound like a good idea...

I mean if I took a MuscleTech-type NitroFueler Testo Blaster supp....the estro raise wouldn't be anywhere near that...I hope!..

The commercial preps advertise a 600% testo increase....but they also contain aromatase inhibitors as well....
