Hi,
After getting into running for fitness and just getting comfortable with 5km, I have partially torn my calf (?gastronemus) ligament :cry:. I have been told not to run for 8 weeks, which seriously dents my training schedule. I can swim, but am looking for other ways to keep the legs 'fit' that will protect the ligament and allow it to heal. If it tears completely I will be put in a cast!
As always, any advice greatfully received, particularly for no/low cost options at the moment.
