When you want to add the name of a site (for example:-http://www whatever-the-heck) to a post, how do you do this?

Should I add the site as a 'favorite ' first in my own list?

If I do that , then what?

How do I go about transferring the site name to the post.

Unbelievably, when I do this now I write them all out first on a piece of paper and then type them into the post.

Yes...I know.....a card-carrying Luddite....:o

I may be showing myself as a fellow Luddite :D, but all I do is open the site (www. whatever.com) in a separate window, highlight the address, right click, hit "copy", then go to my posting window, right click again, hit "paste". I'm sure there is a more technically pleasing way to do this, but I'd be interested in finding out myself. I'm just trying to save you some writing and typing.

Then again, I may be such a Luddite that I may have totally misunderstood your question.

Pretty much what I do is the same, but instead of pasting into the window, I hit the "world with the chain link" icon. This pops up a new window and paste there. The neat thing about using this way is that when you look at box editor with will say [/url = "http:// web address"]http://www.nameof address /ur l]

On that second part you can delete the white area and change to a descriptive nature of the link. Example:

http://www.johnstonefitness.com

vs.

The best fitness site on the web - John Stone Fitness (http://www.johnstonefitness.com)

I don't even hit the "world with chain link" icon.

When reaching the point in my post where I want to put the link I type what I want to appear in my post .

Just another way of achieving the same result.
