dude for a frozen meal, its not too bad. It would be pretty easy to make oneself with fresh ingrediants and avoiding added sugar, salt etc but I see you are 15 and I think its cool you are even asking if its healthy :) Maybe you can't cook for yourself and if so and yu want to make this part of a your nurtrition thats fine in my opinion :)
However if you want more detailed help feel free to set out your goals and plans etc and we will offer more help :) and please please, at 15 unless you are very obese, it won't help you to cut your calories much. you should try and eat healthy and LIFT hard, develop that muscle and see the fat melt away ;)
CAA Tue, March 24th, 2009, 04:49 PM okay i agree with you. i eat this because i need something convient for at school. so i am trying to get to 150 lbs and 12% body fat. i go to a commercial gym every school day. on the days i am not at school i run outside or use excercise bike for 20 minutes. i try to eat 2200 calories a day according to the bmr test i did. to mantain my weight i am supposed to eat 2941 calories but i am trying to lose weight. 3 days a week i do core activities and 2 times a week i do upper and lower body strength building. any tips or info you can help me with would be awesome. i will post what i eat tomorrow on this thread. thanks
tensdanny Tue, March 24th, 2009, 06:47 PM I've been taking the mark rippetoe approach of there are more than 5 ingriendents in it, to go more natural.
Obviously this doesn't apply to say a salad where there can be 20 different types of unprocessed veggies :)
Jedi Wed, March 25th, 2009, 12:03 PM If I were you I would aim for no less than 2500 cals per day. You have male, youth hormones on your side and lifting hard and heavy will help yous lose fat. a two day upper two day lower is fine as long as your are focussing on the compound lifts like barbell rows, pullups, dips, squats, deadlifts, military press etc
the best thing you can do for yourself is to read Gravityhomer's and foley's threads in the stickies section of the beginners thread. There is some very useful info in there:)
