I'm currently enrolled with mastover for two months of training and nutrition (which is going very well). I hurt my back in December (a pulled muscle), I have re-injured it twice since then. I re- injured it last week while deadlifting. I'm a beginner so I'm not lifting heavy yet. But last week I was trying to up the weight, and I felt a twinge in my back. The next two days I had a lot of pain, but it is much better today. But now I'm in fear of hurting it again when I deadlift. Is there another lift that I can do that will give me the same results as the deadlift.? Thanks.

Same results as a deadlift? Other than deadlift derivitives, maybe the powerclean. I would NOT advise you start up with them next week, though. Here's what I would do:
Take a break from anything that loads up the lowerback (squat, rows, standing presses, etc.) and let the injury heal. This might take several weeks.
Start back up with deads with very light weight and work on form. Get someone to watch you or take video of your sets. Get any technique issues out of the way.
Slowly increase weight while continuing to make sure your form stays tight.
But ask Mastover what he would prescribe. He's been at this a long time and knows a ton more about injuries and whatnot than me.

Big red flag here. A muscle pull is actually a tear. Re-injury doesn't only mean injuring it to the same severity, often it means a worse injury than the original.
You need to heal, and for a big muscle that you use a lot in daily life six weeks rest is often recommended.
There is no lift that gives the same results as the deadlift. But right now you don't want the results you have been getting with the deadlift. I suggest you leave your posterior chain alone for a while. Especially since you are 51 years old. Don't expect to heal as fast as a teenager.

Since Aram is your coach I would ask him before anyone else.
