Hi all,

I disappeared for a little while from these here boards. Though I was in the middle of a bulk, I will say that I've stumbled across the best cutting technique ever.

I got food poisoning!

Talk about a deficit: I was completely unable to eat for two days. TWO DAYS! Can you imagine the savings? That's thousands of calories! Did I need to exercise? Well, apart from throwing up (violently and repeatedly), no! In fact, all I had to do was lay there as still as possible, as every movement did nothing but make me want to throw up again.

The pounds melted away! And water weight? Forget it - I'll spare you the details, but I will say that none of it could get in and a whole lot of it could get out.

Of course feeling like you're being repeatedly stabbed in the kidneys is a bit of a downside, and of course not being able to actually CHOOSE to cut this way makes for some scheduling headaches. I guess you've just got to want it bad enough. Or maybe you just need to eat the wrong thing. Or the right thing prepared wrongly. I dunno - it's one of those.

Funny. :)

Anyway, I hope you feel better. I got sick in December, but not as badly as you--no puking or anything, but I ate nothing for about two days. Lost around 3-4 pounds. At least it was during a cut!

Did you not hear about the peanut butter recall? :D

But seriously, what caused the poisoning? Any ideas?

Hope you've gotten it out of your system (though by thr sound of it, you got eveything out of your system!).

This sounds like exactly the plan I needed. Do nothing and the pounds just shed away. I went out and licked some raw chicken tonight in hopes that I can get in on the plan.

Hope you start feeling better.

I've had food poisoning FOUR times in my life  not fun at all, had the body shivers and all the above you mentioned.

If you really want to lose some weight do yourself one better and get mono  I remember back in high school I got mono and lost a bunch of weight cause I couldn't stomach any food and all I did was lay around or sleep.

Oh, my, mono was the worst! I remember once being thirsty and going from the livingroom to the kitchen to get a drink. They shared a wall, so that was what... thirty feet of walking at most?

When I got to the fridge, I thought to myself, "Oh, hey, I'm way tired. I think I'll lie down right here on the kitchen floor to recup."

And I did.

Man, mono knocks you out!

But food poisoning is worse. For a while I got a bout at least once or twice a year. It took me selling my business (a pet store) to realize that I hadn't been washing my hands well enough and was getting salmonella from the reptiles. Bleh. Food poisoning nearly always makes me religious. (Fox holes, you know.) Dear gods, either let me get better or just let me die now. Please.
