Does anyone know where exactly most water is retained when one is retaining water? I have been working out as normal and eating healthy. The only thing is the last several days a couple meals have been rather high in sodium and thus I believe that is why my weight is up slightly and I feel bit bloated. I feel it in my lower stomach area, which is one of the only places I have a small amount of fat storage...I am wondering could I be feeling this (tighter in the pants a little) due to water retention or have a I gained a bit in that area. I am trying to drink a lot of water and plan to do some intense cardio later to try to sweat it out a bit and release some of the h2o. Thanks.
