I wrapped up my cut last week. In about 2.5 months, I dropped from 180 and around 18% (estimated) to 12.2% (tape measure method) BF, with a 32" waist for the first time in years.
I didn't count calories or macros, just tried to eat clean, and watch the portions. For exercise, I did a "compound exercises only" 3-day split plus 30 minutes on the elliptical (MISS) on MWF; and 60 minutes of cardio (also MISS) on T-TH. Seemed to work pretty well, but I'm tired of feeling hungry, and I think my body was giving me signs that that was all the weight it wanted to lose for now.
Here are some current pics...sorry, I don't have "before" pics...

I know, some of you are probably thinking "160?? On a 6'2" 42-year-old?? Dude, EAT something!!!" Well...I'm pretty much an ectomorph, and I really wanted to take the approach I've read about where you cut first, THEN bulk. I've heard that either way can be OK.
And now, it's time to bulk! Here's hoping that after some significant muscle gain, I can reach the coveted single digit BF% on the next cut.
