Hi all,

I was hoping for some feeback, I am a long time reader, first poster. One month ago I decided to go on a diet to finally get rid of this little gut that I have and I wanted to post my progress and get some feedback.

1 month cut
Stats:

Starting Weight: 162.5 ending weight 153.00
Height = 5"10
Diet- Followed a gluten free diet and no alcohol (those are two things that I enjoyed daily)
Working out - Lift and cardio 3 days a week (mon, wed, fri)

My work outs were generally 4-5 Sets with the last two I would work for failure. I would do two different exercises per body part ex. 2 chest exercises, two tricep exercises all to 4-5 sets of 5-10 reps (depending on which set I was on)

Cardio would be 30 min after working out.

My whole goals was to lose the gut and try and completely flatten my chest, as you can see I still have a little gut and my chest is not completely flat still have the man boobs, but the thought of someone like me going less than 150 seems not right to have to get rid of my fat.

I have never been an athlete so I don't have that to work with.

Can I get some advice on my goals?

My diet is extremely healthy protein shakes, Green drinks, plenty of greens, brown rice, lean chicken, and I am very happy with the weight I lost almost 10 pounds in just under a month but I dont know where to go from here. If I start gaining the weight back I think because I dont have the flat chest and good abs I will just start to look bad.

Advice please?

1st pic is before, 2nd pic to the right is after.

Check out the body recomposition thread in the beginner/introduction forum sticky. That should give you an idea of what you need to do.

Honestly I think you're on a great track. Your diet sounds stellar, though I'd be interested to know what your macros are. Your workout plan sounds solid. You're seeing results.

Losing more weight shouldn't be that big of a deal if it's from fat. You want to ensure you're at least maintaining the muscle you have while burning that fat and with what you've got going it sounds like that's happening, but your macros would help me figure that out.

What's your body fat percentage?

Looking at these pictures, Wowo I need a tan.

I just signed up with Mastover to start March 2nd, he suggested for me to bulk up a bit to give my body more form.

I wasnt concentrating on macro's before, didnt even know what they were lol. Cant believe how much I am going to be eating on march 2nd.

Wish me luck! :)
