Some back ground.. I started using Medifast in August of 2008 and I've lost about 100lbs since then (without working out at all). Here are some pictures of my progress..

315lbs-220lbs..

I transitioned out of Medifast at the beginning of January using a slightly modified Body for Life.

I've been monitoring what I eat very strictly and not cheating at all. Working out regularly (lifting heavy and alternating days of HITT) I've been consuming about 2000 (on off days) to 2500 (on workout days) on a ratio of 50p/30c/20f. My question is that I haven't lost (or gained) ANY weight since transitioning from Medifast. The next pics are before/afters since ending Medifast 6 weeks ago till now, can you tell a difference?

220lbs for the last 6 weeks...

I've very recently cut back to 1700 cals (off days) to 2000 cals (workout days) but maybe I should just keep going as I was? (I've tried upping them by 500 but still no change in scale weight. I know the scale is certainly not the best judge of health but I not sure the pictures are showing progress either.

Great job on cutting down from 315lbs, but I would need a side by side of the two pics you want us to critique. Its too hard to see the moving pic to this pic.

In the second pic, over those last 6 weeks, it looks like you are successfully recomping to me. You lost a little bit off the waist and look a little narrower around the ribs, also. Excellent work, man! Keep it up!

Yeah, you lost more fat around the waist from the second to last to last picture, and maybe even defined some more muscle, or it just came out better under the fat loss.

I can tell a big difference in the 6 week shot progression. Chest seems a bit leaner, noticeable loss of fat around the midsection, and the shoulders are better defined. Also, a nice new tat, heh.

Well done man, congrats.

Thank very much for your input! As far as calories, the consensus seems to be not to lower calories?

BTW

here's a closer pic of the new tat...

You absolutely burned more fat, very clear from those photos.

I'd say keep doing what you were doing! You probably burned fat and gained muscle, thus the reason why you don't see a scale change.

Consider switching to a focus of tape measurements and body fat calipers. I think you'll see changes through those that'll keep you happy.

With side by side I can see a clear difference between the two and can barely believe you didn't drop any more weight. With that said you much thinner around the middle and everything is continuing to tighten up! :tu: Great Job!!!
