Hey guys,

I hit the gym 3 times a week, and eat 4-6 generally healthy portions a day.

Just curious how long in general it takes to get bigger in size?

I've been hitting the gym for almost a month now.

You probably are getting bigger right now. It's not a very rapid process, though. Try keeping track of your weight and measurements to see how you're progressing. If you're not seeing any change then you may need to make alterations to what you're doing.

Years. You'll be getting slightly bigger all the time. But it takes years to get the type of physique where you look big.

Forever.

Unless you're happy with such a small result. :jumping:

Thanks for the replies, was just curious. I haven't missed a gym day yet and I don't ever intend to. I just want to look built through my shirt haha. :P

Are you training specifically for size gains? Meaning progressively heavier weights week to week, and month to month.

More importantly, are you eating for size gains?

Saying you're eating 4-6 "healthy portions" doesn't really give us much to go on. Depending on your natural appetite, it may take a good dose of what you might instinctively consider "unhealthy portions".
