Meals typical consist of a bowl of non-sugar cheroios with skim milk, salads with no dressing, turkey, turkey sandwiches, eggs, and oatmeal.

Usually I do about 35 min of cardio per day, and three times a day I left, following Gravityhomer's fat loss guide.

What I'm wondering is, should I add protein shake to after workouts when i Lift?

Thanks

You lift three times a day? I'm going to assume that was a typo and it's three times a week. Protein shakes are not necessary if you don't want to use them. They're just food. You'll do fine just having a regular meal after your workout.

If you want better feedback on your diet, we'll need more details, but I'm going to say right now that Cheerios aren't really on my list of "clean foods" - though they're certainly better than, say, Froot Loops. Furthermore, it doesn't look like you're getting much fat in your diet which is something I strongly advise against. Dietary fat keeps you satiated and it's important for hormone production.

Protein shakes can be helpful and convenient when used in the right situations, but adding a protein shake into this mishmash of food choices probably won't make a whole lot of difference to any results you get.

I don't think Cheerios are necessarily a problem, but generally, you'd probably want to be getting a good protein source in the morning. Take a look at Foley's guide Nutrition for Body Recomposition (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showthread.php?t=41991)for some alternate meal ideas.
