I thought I'd post a list of the fitness blogs I have in my Google Reader; hopefully it'll be useful for other JSFers, and hopefully other JSFers can post some other good blogs that I don't know about :)

Alwyn Cosgrove
http://alwyncosgrove.blogspot.com/
Heavy focus on fat loss, improving your fitness business and some good stuff about the non-technical stuff around training and nutrition, like goal-setting, mentality etc. Most of these bloggers push their own products (naturally), but he does it a little more than others I think.

Eric Cressey
http://ericcressey.com/
Mainly focuses on strength training (as opposed to hypertrophy and/or fat loss). Lots of good info on prehab/rehab exercises, particularly for the shoulder. Can get very technical with the anatomy stuff!

Mike Robertson
http://robertsontrainingsystems.com/
Similar to Cressey's blog in that it's focused mainly on strength training, along with mobility, prehab and the like. Comes across as extremely likeable whereas Cosgrove comes off as a bit of a mean bastard

Tony Gentilcore
http://www.bostonherald.com/blogs/entertainment/step_up
Eric Cressey's business partner. Similar to EC's blog but it's a bit funnier, and he often posts pics of hot women.

T-Nation
http://www.t-nation.com/
Most people already know about this one. There's an article published every day during the week, on topics ranging from conditioning, to nutrition, strength training, hypertrophy, steroids, supplements and everything in between. The site's main purpose is as a marketing tool for Biotest products, but if you can read around the hype for Surge et al then you will gleam plenty of useful information.

There's one more that I always make sure to read, but he doesn't have an RSS feed, which is really annoying:

Joe DeFranco
http://www.defrancostraining.com/ask-joe.html
Almost exclusively about training for strength & athletic performance, and mostly in the form of Q&A from readers. I have read the entire Ask Joe archive and learnt a lot from it! He also regularly posts YouTube videos on the blog to demonstrate exercises and freaky athletic feats from his athletes.

I used to subscribe to Shugart's Hammer (Chris Shugart's 'blog' on the T-Nation forums, but he hasn't updated in a year or something). That one is worth a read sometimes but it can be tough to read because Shugart comes across as a complete tool. He does know a lot of stuff though, so it's worth a read.

So... any others that I've missed that I & the assembled throng should know about?

Good thread. I've been meaning to start one about blogs and podcasts for a long time. I think I've also got most of those you've listed along with some more scientific based ones. I have to admit I kind of got burned out on reading them as much as I used to so I've gotten behind.

There are some good podcasts out there, too. I'll try to come back in next week and add some of the stuff I read/listen to.

The IF Life - Intermittent Fasting

http://www.theiflife.com/

Different approach to eating. Personally, i find this a very natural way to eat. I'm rarely hungry when i wake and i'm much more alert when i skip traditional breakfast.
