You know it really disappoints me. I start off February great, dedicated to sound weight training, cardio and nutrition then a few days into it I get sick. It was yesterday - I got up at 6:45, did my cardio session and started to cough a little. Then I was feeling so so throughout the day - a little dizzy, but not too bad. I did my weight training, and during the workout I could feel the sickness coming on. Despite me feeling a little sick - I still had a good workout, and lifted heavier than usual. Then at about 7pm it hit me - my head started to really hurt, and I got really hot, but felt cold even under 2 blankets.
I'm feeling much better today, but I think I should stop cardio/weight training until I'm at least 90% better. My question is - should I still follow my cutting diet when I'm sick?

I think i'd stick to a cold/flu diet instead, might be easier on you. You know the typical, drink lots of fluids, soup, etc. A couple of days of this, especially since your calories would be pretty low, isn't going to hurt your cutting diet.

I agree with Bear,
You naturally get less hungry when you're sick because when you don't eat your body finally has a chance to heal itself, so you'll get over your sickness much quicker if ya don't eat much (I'd eat some veggies though for some extra antioxidants).
And yea plus you're cutting anyway so it may actually speed up your fat loss haha :tucool:
I wouldn't worry about muscle loss either. Once you reintroduce protein normally into your diet, you'll be able to assimilate it much better anyway which'll kind of negate any muscle you lost during NOT eating it.
I'm not sure if I explained that right, so if you don't know what I mean just let me know

Dont train until you are better. If you are true to this new plan, a week out from a lifetime of workouts is a meer drop in the ocean. Your body needs the energy to recover, and you will only delay that recovery by training.
Thats not to say eat junk, but just rest up until you feel better, then start over. :tu:
