So I have my Macros etc... figured out. My question is re: Muscle Milk. I know its a bit higher in fat, but its tastes good and they have it at Sams for a decent price.

Thoughts on muscle milk if I stay within my macro ratios for fat?

If you don't want the fat and carbs of Muscle Milk, the protein component (and taste) is used in the Cytosport product EvoPro.

Muscle Milk is a MRP (meal replacement). I personally prefer to use straight protein powder and then either combine it with a carb like fruit or oats or a fat like nuts or heavy cream to be able to control how I use it, fiber, etc. But if Muscle Milk fits your desired ratios/goals, it's probably fine.

I have used Muscle Milk to success in the past. It tastes great, is available in great varieties, and depending on where you live, available from Pepsico in convenience stores (16 oz. bottles). It's nice to be able to pop into a store and still be able to maintain a strict diet.:gl:

I use cytogainer by the same people who make muscle milk. Muscle milk is more like casein, a slow release protein make up. Cytogainer contains long chained simple carbs and a combination of short and long release proteins. The cytogainer is great because it provides 550 high quality calories to your torn muscles, instantly and sustainably. :dreamy:

I would prefer to use Muscle Milk Naturals since there is no sucrolose. But there is a Muscle Milk light if you dont like the fat. Muscle Milk is about the only brand with enough variety and good taste to use regularly.
