View Full Version : Masturbation: Sensetive Issue!!
CuTe PoIsOn Tue, January 27th, 2009, 07:16 PM Well I know that testosterone is a hormone which is primarily secreted from the testes In males. Which led me to think about the issue of masturbation, if possible I need facts on this issue, as Im getting pretty annouyed at myself, if Im inducing a decrease in Testosterone.
Right, cant hold this off much longer, here go's nothing, Over the past year ive been single, *not looking*, which has led me to become sexually frustrated to a point where Im masturbating some weeks daily, but most weeks at least 3-4 times. Does this effect my test production, and or effect my potential growth?
JoeSchmo Tue, January 27th, 2009, 08:27 PM This question has been asked before .... so don't worry, you aren't the only one to worry about such issues.

Yeah, just don't do it on the bus or anything.
gazareth Thu, January 29th, 2009, 01:06 PM Alternatively, if it is a sensitive issue then you could try loosening your grip.
CuTe PoIsOn Thu, January 29th, 2009, 01:06 PM Yeah, just don't do it on the bus or anything.
lmao i'll remember that next time I catch the 12.15 to picaddili
woodan Thu, January 29th, 2009, 01:37 PM A guy I went to school/college with had apparently masturbated on the top deck of a bus once.
KT Monahan Thu, January 29th, 2009, 02:23 PM As long as there are no chaffing issues, palm hair, or reduced vision, you are fine.
Just slightly off topic, what are the best exercises for increasing grip strength?

"primarily secreted by males" ...
I thought women were full of testosterone too.....at least that's what I've read.
Not sure how it's manufactured in women....seeing as how they are "sans kojones"..

i think we just make less.
"Women, via mainly their ovaries and adrenal glands, make a tiny three tenths of one milligram of testosterone per day."
here's wikipedias....
"Like other steroid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steroid) hormones, testosterone is derived from cholesterol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cholesterol). The largest amounts of testosterone are produced by the testes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testis) in men. It is also synthesized in far smaller quantities in women by the thecal cells (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thecal_cells) of the ovaries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ovary), by the placenta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Placenta), as well as by the zona reticularis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zona_reticularis) of the adrenal cortex (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrenal_cortex) in both sexes."
:tucool: now ya know.

Yes, that is correct.
Testosterone in females is made all the time in the theca of the ovaries, and then usually most of it is converted to estrogen in the granulosa cells of the ovaries. Similarly, the adrenal cortex makes mostly weak androgens (DHEA, androstenodione) and a bit of testosterone which can circulate and either act on receptors or be converted by fat cells into estrogen.
