Well, 3 years ago I lost quite a bit of weight - I even posted about my weight loss here. I went from 228 down to 180 and was living a really healthy lifestyle... eating good and working out. I was very pleased with myself. Over the last 2.5 years I've been steadily putting the weight back on. I stopped working out and have been eating everything in sight, basically. I weighed myself yesterday morning and I'm back where I started... 230 lbs. It's time to lose it all again. My goal this time isn't to reach the 180 mark (too skinny for me), but rather 200. IMHO I look the best at this weight. Once again, I'll be using this site to help keep me inspired during these next few months. Thanks everyone!

Good luck man, make some small goals and stick with them and you will succeed. We all fall off the wagon from time to time. I have fallen off so many times I am wearing a helmet now! :lol:

Good luck to you! I'm in a similar position with falling off the wagon, except that I haven't seen the likes of sub 200 in years, literally. I'm trying to get down to 185 before my 21st birthday in October.

Heya Cole,

Good luck with it mate, I have found the same thing myself. I worked hard last Spring and dropped almost 20kg. I think got into a relationship and found myself in a "comfort zone" which has lead me back to square one!

It's frustraiting to say the least, but at least you know what you have to do in order to achive your goals now. I think that getting knowlage of how to go about it can be one of the hardest things.

Anyhow, best of luck, I am sure you will make it!

Screw the wagon. It's not headed anywhere pleasant anyway. Carve your own groove and it'll be easier to stay in it.

Hey if you can create those awesome screensaver clocks then losing some weight will be easy. Treat everyday like a little war and you will win the battle.

Seriously they are cool.

I weighed this morning - I lost 5 lbs the first week. That's not bad considering I ate like a pig while watching the Super Bowl last night. :lol:

Sunday was my cheat meal day, but i think I worried all of the calories away in that damn 4th quarter.

For any Steelers fans out there, it reminded me of that playoff game w/ Indy a few years back when Bettis fumbled. Some guy had a heart attack then. Fortunately, I haven't heard of any of those from Sunday's game.

* * *

anyways, I know first hand how easy it is to fall into an unhealthy pattern...it happens so slowly you justify the first few weeks that you can still get it back whenever you want, but then before you realize, you feel like you hit a point where its going to be a ton of very humbling work to get it back.

I know how the stress of life can get in the way. as much as i loved working out, when i was stressing over my career, i quit going to the gym, the exact opposite of what I should have been doing.

Anyways, hang in there man, spring's just around the corner (screw you punxatawny phil) , and there's be all sorts of fun stuff to do.
