View Full Version : Inside of Elbow pain

I worked out for the first team yesterday in ages, didn't do much weight on the bar at all, I did Barbell Curls, Military Press, Bench Press, along with other exercises but these are the ones which have most likely caused whatever has happened.

I woke up this morning and my arm was a bit sore, on the inside of it, around the joint area, only in my left arm (weaker arm, I am right handed). Not too sure what it is, I am thinking it's just from overworking it and just needs resting?

I've looked around online and seen it could be from either bad form or overworking.

It's not excruciating pain at all, just more of an annoyance than anything, like when I straighten my arm, it feels like the muscles on the inside are tight and don't want to let my arm straighten.

Anyone else had this? and if so know how long it should take to heal? I could probably work out with it again as it is, but don't really want to risk anything bad happening.

Thanks in advance!

lol - this is such a funny coincidence. I just came on this forum to ask about the same question and saw your post!

My pain is from two days ago and it was my first workout for that muscle group in god knows how long... I think I know what I did wrong though. I had too much weight on the BB and asked too much of my muscles and joints on day one. The bicep and forearm are sore too, but nothing like the joint.

lol, sounds like the same thing, I've had ice on mine and its made it less painful to extend arm properly.

Noticed it does seem to be the part of the bicep closest to the joint which seems to be where the pain/soreness is, just a slight bit in the forearm.

The good news is that it doesn't seem like tendinitis. Also icing it is probably teh good thing to do if it's an inflamation. My 2 cents.
