My Home Gym resides on my screened in, covered back pourch. Its there for two reasons, One i have no room in my house for it, and Two i just plain ole like to be outside. I should first clarifiy that i live in south Florida, so it has never, ever gotten so cold that i canceld a work out becasue of the wether. I wear sweats about three time a year. 98% of the time the tempature out side is warmer than inside the house. That is where my question comes in. Being that all my workouts are done in a non-climit contoled enviroment ranging from 75 degrees to 95 degrees are there any Benifits or draw backs from working out in this situation? Not that it will change the location of my Gym, but i was wondering.. In the Summer i even move my Cardio out on the deck in the sun to take advantage of getting some rays. Thanks in advance for any input.

i'd assume the benefit is that you ENJOY it. this probably outweighs any draw back that high temps might cause. as long as you stay hydrated u should be golden.

i have my power cage outside and freakin love working out in the outdoors.

think of all the guys in prison who have gotten huge working out outside.

but yeah. i really have no idea of the scientific drawbacks.... but i think if you enjoy it..... and stay hydrated.... then happy lifting!

Thanks Deja, you are right about enjoying where it is, and staying hydrated is no problem with my handy 2nd fridge out side. Its also handy for keeping adult beverages ice cold on those not so clean eating days
