Apparently fruits are slow digesting which makes them an ideal preworkout energy source, however apparently an apple contains poly?? something which increases muscle strength whereas an orange's Vitamin C increases Nitric oxide levels consequently allowing for a greater pump.

Lots of people say the banana helps to boost energy pre-workout.
I've tried it.....can't really say if it actually 'works.'
But then again, I've never had energy problems while working out. Sure, there are 'flat' days, where I don't even 'want' to lift, but its all in the head, IMO.
