Hi Im around 180 - 18 BF, Im currently cutting.... I eat around 1800-2000 cals a day.

Now I eat around 160-180 grams of carbs a day and my diet is clean, and none of it is from veggies... all my carb intake is oatmeal, yes I love oatmeal. Im getting around 20gs of fiber, I know veggies are important.. but are they essential? How much of the 160-180 grams of carbs come from veggies... I can reduce the amount of oatmeal and add in the veggies... can someone tell me some good veggies for my diet. But my main concern is can I go without it, will it improve my cut even though my diet is already clean.

In my opinion, yes, veggies are essential. They provide essential nutrients for your body. Without those nutrients you might wind up with a deficiency of some kind and this will not only affect your health, but missing essential nutrients can also impede your fitness goals, including fat loss.

The best ones are green, leafy vegetables, e.g. broccoli, spinach, kale... Green beans are also good. But it's hard to go wrong with any kind of vegetable (be careful with corn and peas, though, as they contain quite a bit of sugar). In my opinion, you should be getting a serving of fruit or vegetables with every single meal. I limit fruit to 1-2 servings (1 serving being e.g. 1 apple or 1 peach or 100 g of berries...) and try to get about 4-5 servings of vegetables, mostly broccoli (I eat about 300 g per broccoli a day) but also carrots, onions or whatever else is in season.
