Hello all, I'm new here, been reading around and really find this forum interesting! :D Well, first post for me and here goes:

My current stats are height of 170cm and weight of 61kg. Looking to actually maintain my size but shed of almost all fat like say reach maybe 6-8% bodyfat?

Currently in the induction phase of Anabolic Diet, Day 10 now. Been feeling headaches during the first few days but it seems to have subsided now. Here is my plan,

Meal 1: 2 slices of picnic ham, 2 half-boiled eggs, 2 slices of cheese

Snack Meal: About 40g of Cashew Nuts

Meal 2: Any meat I can get (E.g. Beef, Chicken, Pork, Fish) with some veggies

Snack Meal: Veggies (Broccoli or Lettuce), 2 slices of picnic ham, 2 slices of cheese OR Veggies + Tuna out of can

Meal 3: Any meat I can get

Meal 4: Protein shake

(I usually consume 2-3 cups of green tea or tea per day)

Well, there it is, am I on the right track? Cheers! ;)

Have you worked out the ratios macro wise and total cals? I would think some of your main meals should have some veg, and not sure what shake you're using but you may want to add some fat to that one. Depends on what it all breaks down to.

You must be excited for you first carb up! It's a good time :)

haha, I have not worked out the ratios yet, I find it hard keeping track of the calories because most of the time I have to eat out. And yes, I'm exicited for first carb up! Thnx for your reply! :D

*EDIT*
I take ON Protein Whey (Chocolate). 1 scoop per day

In my opinion you should not be cutting at a height of 170 cm and 61 kg. Pictures will give us a better idea of where you are at right now, but I very much doubt that you have enough muscle to achieve the look you're going for. I think you would be happier with the results if you actively tried to build muscle at this point. You can always shed fat later.

Secondly, we will need exact amounts (grams or ounces) and macro breakdown of your daily nutrition in order to answer your question. You say you eat out all the time. This will not only make sticking to the AD difficult (oftentimes restaurants will add sugar to stuff like veggies to make them taste better) but it also gives you very little control over what you ingest (chemicals, preservatives etc.). Is there a reason you can't prepare your meals yourself?

I currently lift weights as well as cardio. I want to cut because I have fats at my stomach area :( And I'm not really ripped. I want to be extremely ripped. As for food, I usually order steaks, chicken, pork or fish when I'm out and I usually eat the meat and veggies only. I do not eat the sides such as fries, mash potato. I don't prepare my meals much mainly due to me not being a very good cook and I'm not very sure as to how to prepare many meals :(

I think eating out on AD would eventually cause hidden carbs. It's also a bit more expensive than a typical diet, so you may find eating out and AD costing you a lot of $. if it's something you want to do you'll have to learn how to cook. I find there's more meal prep time with it and therefore cook more on the weekends to spread out during the week.

Well, here are the pics... Pls don't feel disgusted after seeing them :blank:

As for food, that is why I try to cut out mostly on the gravy and such. I did feel some of the symptoms of AD as stated, but after a while, I felt fine... I really need to learn how to cook, yes its expensive eating out :(

How old are you?

I think you should take the time to learn how to throw together a few simple, healthy, cheap meals. Check out the recipe forum here at JSF or the recipe forum here (http://www.figureathlete.com/category.jsp;jsessionid=724261BA70C73B0A03D6AB8BB5 BF55BE.hydra?categoryID=70&pageNo=1&s=forumsNavTop). Cooking is not very hard and it will benefit you in the long run.

You're not old at all. In fact, this is the time to build some muscle while you have the hormonal advantage on your side, which is the reason I asked. So I don't think you should cut. I suggest focusing on lifting heavy weights (check out Starting Strength by Rippetoe or Stronglifts 5x5 (http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5x5-beginner-strength-training-program/)) and eating at a caloric surplus with lots of good, clean food (no restaurant food ;)). You will likely lose that little bit of flab on your stomach by doing this. If not, more muscle will help you do it later on. But as someone said in another thread, "You can't reveal what you haven't taken the time to build."
