I understand the calories in a cup of coffee are relatively low, but I want to know if all ground coffee is the same.

Keep in mind I'm talking about coffee beans you buy from the store, and the ones that aren't flavored (ie Dunkin Donuts Original Blend, Folger's Special Roast).

I've looked at a few calorie counter sites and different companies coffees aren't very consistent nutrition-wise, leaving me confused.

If I'm understanding you correctly, it sounds like you're looking for the calorie footprint from what is essentially a black cup of coffee.

It's going to be somewhere between 0 and jack spit. Nothing to worry about.

What about that "Instant Coffee" mix? Does that have any calories? I occasionally put a tspn in my shake for extra flavor. I have been looked for nutritional info on it but cant find any.

Wow. Never thought of adding coffee to my shakes and all. Guess it gives a new meaning to shakes@:)

I would think the instant coffees have calories because you're mixing something with your drink, rather than leaching from coffee grounds.
