WEll here's the deal < I got a pretty clean diet thats easy to stick to however I came across these amazing chicken breasts , but noticed they have about 800 mg sodium in each, yes if u can tell they come frozen ( M + M meat shops ) . I plan to eat 2 -3 of these a day which that alone brings me to 2400 MG sodium ( usually what they recommend in one day ) , however with my other foods, I may hit upskirts of 3000-3500 mg total sodium on the day , will this affect my cut ? I understand I will be retaining more water but with a good lifting routine and regular cardio, does this really seem like a road block? Any info is appreciated .

It'll be a road block only if you have hypertension or diabetes, which then, of course, you should follow all guidelines recommended from a medical doctor. In the future get your chicken breasts fresh, plain, with nothing added.

Sodium is very important since it assists in transporting carbs into the muscle. Therefore, for the majority of the time, I prefer using sea salt on carbs, specifically white potato because of its insanely high potassium content. Yes your body will hold more water, but remember that a wet cell is an anabolic cell. Unless you are 2-3 days out from a bodybuilding show, extra sodium is not going to affect bodyfat levels. You may "appear" more puffy, but this is temporary.

If you eat clean, monitoring how much sodium you take in can be very easy, simply because overprocessed foods contain too much sodium.
