Mr. Stone:

Could you review my most recent post? And tell me your thoughts on my latest response? I really need to get past this....

Also, I just downloaded your Excel spreadsheet that demonstrates your SPLIT for the MAX-OT routine you are following, and I started reading the PDF as well. In that PDF it indicates that you should not work more than 1-2 body parts per workout, but your spreadsheet looks as if you are doing 3 body parts, do think that is hindering your progress any?

Lastly, what do you think about drinking a cup of coffee in the morning before cardio with a little splenda in it? Good or bad? Everyday or only on days when I am having trouble getting started?

Thanks alot..

Hello, I'm not John Stone.

First, I would start off by posting your what you're daily diet is, so that it can be look at in depth. You'd be surprised at what a lot of traditional dieters consider "clean" food when in actuality, its just garbage. I know you were using BFL, so you probably have a good grasp of nutrition, but posting up what you eat can't hurt.

You said "I am not concerned with being a bodybuilder per say, I just want to be healthy and live a long life." Just because you don't consider yourself to be a "bodybuilder" doesn't mean you don't have to follow the same rules that they do. Give every workout 100% percent, and try to make strength gains everytime. If you're still using the same 20 lb dumbbells that you were using when you first started, I would argue that your weight training sessions are worthless. Remember, more muscle = more calories burned everyday. I would also argue that yes, you are in fact a bodybuilder, just by the fact that you're hitting the weight set. You're lifting weights to get stronger, build muscle, and lose fat. You're trying to transform and sculpt your body, which is what bodybuilders do. Anyways, this is my mini unintelligible rant for the day.
