I have now finally taken the first step towards getting in better shape.
I went to a sports shop today, and bought myself a punchingbag, training Gloves (http://www.combatsport.no/default.asp?mnuMain=1&mnuSub=15&pg=Info&pID=617) and have gotten the punching bag up and running. I also bought boxing bandages to protect my wrists.
I will be buying weights also, so i can start training my arms a bit better.. (only one hand weights, not :bb: <-- these (dont know the english word for it))

Are there any special ways to hit/kick the bag so I don`t hurt myself?

I also bought a couple of SAI knives (mostly because they look cool) but also because it would be cool to get to train with them for real.
The thing i`m missing here are ways to train with them.

I am a complete newbie with training, and everything would help!

You should probably attend at least one boxing/kicking class to learn how to properly hit the bag.

I hope you bought practice sais, rubber coated or at the very least unsharpened, because there is chance for serious injury while practicing with them. You should also find a martial arts school for instruction with them.

I had a friend over, who has been practicing for a while with karate and kickboxing..
Ofcourse i bought practice sais.. :D not that dumb.. hehe..
But the most important thing for me is to practice my upper body..
Is practicing with the bag enough for this? My upper body is not well trained, and my "tits" are starting to hang.. if you know what i mean.. what is the best way to get rid of this problem? any help would be great!
