Im Rob,

Im 20 years old, and a college student at the University of Central Florida.

I work a night shift as a manager at a local sub shop with hours of 6pm- 4:30am

The last time I can remember being in good shape was my freshman year of high school, due to playing football and being conditioned. However, I have never stuck to a healthy diet and actually looked skinny AND buff. THAT is my goal.

As you will see from my pictures that goal is a long way away, but important tasks take time and sacrifice and by posting this I am declaring that I AM ready for a transformation.

My goal is simply to get in the best physical shape of my life and start having a body that I am proud of. I want to know that I look good when Im at the beach in a swimsuit or know that I am viewed as attractive by the opposite sex due to my hard work and determination.

My biggest obstacle is my lack of knowledge and experience. The most knowledge Ive ever gained about getting in shape I have recieved in a very short amount of time from this site and the posts by intelligent members. For example:

My diet is very simple. I cut out all sodas, fast foods, and foods I concider to be bad for me (Pizza, Chocolate, Ice Cream, yada yada). Right now its looking like this
Morning: Bowl of Oats and some milk
Pre-Workout: Cottage Cheese with toasted bagel and cream cheese
Post Workout: Either a peach or a plum with some yogurt and some OJ
Dinner: I work at Jimmy Johns so I get a sub called the Bootlegger.. its mayo, tomato, lettuce, roast beef, and turkey. Its nutritional facts are less than 5g of fat, and I know I need to cut out the mayo.

I will also integrate some chicken for dinner and pick up some Whey protein when I can afford it (although Im not sure what brand to take)
I also have a niche for Chipotle. Ever since seeing their nutritional facts I have changed from the Burrito to the Burrito Boll, black beans, peppers, corn salsa, chicken, light cheese and lettuce. Cut out the sour cream and the tortilla, doesnt seem that bad.

My workouts will be as followed:
WORKOUT SCHEDULE
Monday: Tricepts / Abs: (30 minute run)
Tuesday: Legs / Bicepts
Wednesday: (30 minute run)
Thursday: Chest /Abs
Friday: Back (30 minute run)
Saturday: Full body (2 sets)
Sunday: Rest

I like to do 3 sets of 10 reps on most excersizes. On Abs I do 3 sets of 20.

I am open to as much critiquing as possible and am always willing to learn.

My starting stats are : 220 pounds, 6'1. Not sure on Body fat or measurements as of now.

Hey man, I'll be reading your journal. I'm in the process of getting my pics ready. I'll be reading yours and hope you check out mine.

What are your goals/diet/training program, etc? I know you said your internet was cutting out, but I'm anxious to see.

Best of luck,

Tommy

I hope to have most of my measurements done by the first of August.
