Here is my story:
Very serious back pain/sciatica for 3 years. Just was diagnosed with a SI joint dysfunction and happy to say after much therapy leg pain is down from a 9 to about a 2-3 daily. In the meantime the doctors put me on steroids and i ballooned up to 276 pounds as well as depression eating.
I have just started to be able to do HIIT training on the bike, but do not do any weights. Most of my workouts are bodyweight excercises and some cable work. i am in the process of retraining my TVA's and developing a strong core. i have lower cross syndrome and was unbelievably tight. Could not even be touched by a massage therapist i was so tight. After my sacrum was manipulated over the last 4 months the tightness in my groin, psoas, quads, adductors, IT band has dissipated after 3 years. On the way to recovery.
April 1st I was 276 pounds
I am now 227 pounds when i wake up
My goal is 195 pounds
My diet is very similar to John Stones except i have fallen off the wagon for 4 days about 2 weeks ago....Before that i would have a cheat meal or 2 every couple weeks.
Since i was not able to do alot of cardio with my condition i have been walking 6 miles at a time, twice a day, plus strengthening and stretching.
As of last week I am only doing 6 miles in the a.m. on an empty stomach and 24 minutes of HITT on the bike and 46 minutes of LISS on the elliptical in the evening.
Here is what i look like. I am 44 years old. An ex-boxer and football player.
