We've been playing a mix lately at my gym that someone burned, which includes Sphongle's Outer Sphongolia and Levitation Nation (off their album Nothing Lasts) consecutively. It's more like psychedelic downtempo than "techno" though.

I just saw John Digweed in Tel-Aviv a few weeks back, and the music that plays on his website www.johndigweed.com is awesome!
Also, his most recent podcast is with Moshic, an Israeli DJ, and it's really great psy/downbeat/house-trance.

Look on youtube for "best techno", and you'll find all these mixes that actually have a bunch of great new stuff (though you are going to run into Darude's Sandstorm over and over).

I was a DJ at a techno and industrial club in what seems like a previous life...
I am biased by what I used to spin and some of what I still listen to.
I'll give you what I like....which is more tance than house or other flavors...

Spacegirl does some of the hardest and fastest techno I have come come across...good stuff to workout to... LSD and Funky Acid are a couple of her better tracks.
Voodoo and Serano has a track called Blood is Pumpin' that I like
New Orders' Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix) is a classic
Other original Artists:
BT, Binary Finary, Amoeba Assasin, Wave Generator, Scot Project, Hallucinogen, Icon of Coil, Trance [] Control

Guys that just mix together other people's music: (Good compilations...might be your more cost effective solution...)
DJ Micro
Christopher Lawrence
Tiesto
John Digweed
Paul Van Dyk
Armin Van Buren
Sasha (Sasha and Digweed did some good stuff together)
Dave Ralph
Dave Seaman
DJ Dan
DJ Icey
Timo Maas
George Acosta
Paul Oakenfold (He is hit or miss either the album is awesome or it's abysmal be careful)
St. John
Taucher

For cooling down or relaxing I listen to Ambient...but that is a whole different list....

Anyway, that is just what came off the top of my head getting out of bed...

If you want, you can stert another thread regarding favorite industrial stuff...I got a gazillion of those too...
