I've been reading with site for a while, probably since January, but this is my first time posting. My Max-OT training is going so well I thought it was about time I said 'Hi' and thank John for running this site.
A little background:
I was always pretty skinny growning up, probably around 5'9" 130lbs in the 12th grade (9 years ago). I was athletic, I captained a provincial hockey championship team and would have gone on to junior had a neck injury not messed that up, just not very big or strong.
After a couple of years of being embarrassed to take my shirt off in public, I decided it was time to make a change. I started lifting about three years ago but I ignored the diet half of it. A year ago I started running and eating well but still didn't see the results I expected. Then I discovered this site and Max-OT. I've been training Max-OT for two months now and have added at least 10 pounds to every lift, some a lot more then ten.
I am now:
26
5'9"
160lbs/approx. 10% body fat
Bench: 190lbs
Leg Press: 320lbs
Run: 6 minute mile x 5 miles
I don't mind so much taking my shirt off in public anymore
Thanks John
