Hey all, I just wanted to say that I am really excited to be on this forum. I have been through a lot of fat loss trials and tribulations so I can fortunately say that I am experienced and have a bit of an idea of what works and doesn't but I joined this site because I need some motivation because I really want to take my fat loss to the next level, essentially. Best of luck to all of you in your quests.

Also, does anyone have any good insights on how to space small meals throughout the day to speed up your metabolism and how to size them? I unfortunately suffer from a slow metabolism and could use a good jump start.

Have you checked the stickies here? http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24

There's a lot of good information about nutrition there.

Hi and welcome to the forums. :) Unfortunately, eating six or more small meals throughout the day as opposed to, say, three, will not speed up your metabolism but it has a number of other benefits, such as preventing blood sugar swings and helping you get the nutrients into your body when your body needs them the most, e.g. right after a hard workout.

I suggest reading the stickies at the top of the beginner's forum. :)

Thank you both for your help. All of the suggestions I read were great.
