My wife and I are going to go to San Antonio next month and I just wanted to know if anyone has some restaurants that we MUST go to. I saw a thing on the Travel channel a while back, but I don't know how true some of those things are and if money plays a part in it. We're staying 4 days. Breakfast and Dinner ideas welcome.

Thanks

Where do you live in Texas?

What types of cuisine do you and the Mrs enjoy?

Are you looking for dining and entertainment or strictly looking for good eats?

Where will you be staying in SA?

I've lived in SA for over 20 years, so might be able to suggest a few places.

I live in El Paso and I'm pretty critical of Mexican food, I don't feel there are any GOOD Mexican restaurants here but I'm spoiled by mom's cooking.

I'm looking for good eats. We're going to spend a day at Sea World and another at Six Flags, breakfast and dinner for these days will be a must.

The other two days will be spend sight seeing so all day eats for these days.

I just don't want to go to Applebee's.

We'll be staying at a hotel 1 block away from the River Walk.

Thanks for the help.

The Texan has always been a favorite of mine when I visits my folks in SA. The frog legs are awesome!

San (http://guides.travelchannel.com/san-antonio/city-guides/dining-drinking) Antonio

I found this info on the Travel Channel's site. I'm still looking though. They might be gems if the same restaurants pop on different web sites.
