I've been checking into my local craigslist every week or so for good deals on equipment and I stumbled upon this today.

Eventually I will need to get a powerrack (probably next year) and I'll need a bench for it. I was originally thinking of saving up and getting a top of the line elitefts bench for $800, but this looks like a steal for $100. I wish the pad spacing was closer, but that's pretty much the only problem I see with it.
What do you think? Should I purchase it?

It looks like a decent bench.
I would skip the idea of getting an $800 bench anyway because the Ironmaster Superbench is fine and you can get that for a lot less than $800.

It looks almost exactly like some of the benches off of elitefts. I think I'm going to get it.

For a 100 bucks you can't go wrong...at least from the picture.
It looks really solid.
I especially like the tilting lower seat. One of my benches does not have that and I always wish I had it every time I use it.
The support arm for the bench back looks heavy duty. This is a limiting factor on a lot of benches as to how much weight the bench will take.
As I said for 100 bucks it looks sweet...:)

We (my dad and I) picked it up two days ago.
In the flat and decline position this thing is solid as a rock. In the incline position the support arm is a little more wobbly but not enough that it should be a problem. It's a lot more stable than our old bench.
I wish the support arms were a little thicker.
It's easy to adjust.
The pad is fairly hard (not sure if that's a good thing).

Can you 'snug" up the nuts and bolts so you don't get a wobble?
On second look I think I see what you mean....although the supports are wide comparitively, I'm not sure of the actual "thickness'.
How thick are they?
Personally I would have no problem fabricating a couple of heavy-duty arms for that rig....you might have to use some longer Grade 9 nuts and bolts ...but that's easy. Even Grade 5 would work.
Or you could get an extra pair of the same arms and double them up on both sides with the afore-said nuts and bolts.
Maybe snug up where the seat hinge attaches to the rig too.
