here is a strange question:

Based on my job (active, running around and outside in the extremely hot weather here in las vegas) and my age/height/weight the exrx calculator says i have:

And this is me being as accurate as i can. i probably NEVER sleep 9 hours a day, but wanted to err on the side of too much light activity, not calorie burning activity.

So my question:

I've been sticking to 2300-2500 calories a day for my diet... but it is VERY easy to eat that much

Should i always be hungry while dieting? stupid question right? thing is that i havent actually ever cared about calories eaten before, and the old line of always being hungry is what i expected.

so i eat really really clean and whole and take great suppliments (multi vitamin, fish oils, green tea) and never really use even protein shakes as i can get my 200+ grams protein a day from whole foods.

I eat every 3-4 hours each day. I prepare the same foods and eat the same thing the first half of every day and have different dinner/last snack foods each day.

So what do you guys think.
I guess a good diet doesnt always mean being hungry?

I wouldn't rely much if at all on calculators. There are way too many factors that they cannot account for.

If you're getting the kind of results you want then don't change a thing. :)

I always cut fairly conservatively, and don't generally get hungry. I've never cut below 9% or so bf, though, so getting lower than that might make for more discomfort.

What exactly are you eating?

I find the opposite to be true, actually. This last cut, I've been finding it more difficult to remember to eat every one of my 6 meals than it is to deal with hunger. Eating every 2-3 hours keeps hunger away, and if I'm eating clean foods, I stay satiated throughout the day.
