Hi guys how have you all been. I have been away for a while due to a very very bad injury to my knee. During the time that I have been recuperating I have not trained at all as I did not want to prolong my injury. Physiotherapist has informed me that I will be able to do light exercises and lifting but has also warned me that using free weights could be a danger to me as my knee does not have the strength to be able to control any off balance that may occur during lifting. The physiotherapist has actually told me to get a personal trainer but due to lack of income from being of work for a while I do not think that is going to be a affordable solution. So I turn to the guys on this forum for inspiration and encouragement.
What equipment do you think will be good for gaining strength back into a knee and also losing the weight that I put back on which is only 2 kilos. Before I had this injury I was looking at getting a powertech WBLS. Do you think that a leverage system will be the way to go or will this still be putting to much pressure on the stabilizers.
Please any advice would be much appreciated
