Milk contains Lactose and sugar is "bad "for you if you care about fat loss than loose the sugar and milk.

Its not this cut and dried.

Milk MAY contain lactose and saturated fats, but if you drink it in moderation, it shouldn't be a problem.

Added sugar? I wouldn't recommend it, but if you know what you're taking in, and watch yourself accordingly, whats the problem?

That's a bit extreme. Milk isn't necessarily bad, especially if you keep it reasonable. Neither is cream for that matter. Sugar I'd personally avoid and use something like splenda instead, but others prefer to stay "natural" instead of artificial.

But tea and coffee actually both have some health benefits and include a lot of flavanoids (antioxidants).

Thanks for the comments.

Does this mean that ideally we should be aiming to drink 1 cup or tea, 1 cup or coffee, per day, with milk/coffee mate and no sugar/slenda?

Or are we best off just stearing clear? Does anyone else drink coffee/tea or has stopped drinking coffee/tea lately and has seen benefits?

All I can feel is a bit more tired during the day, probably my crave for the 10-20 cups per day I usually had!

Thanks, Stefan

Caffeine is a performance enhancement drug. Coffee and tea both contain caffeine. If you're doing a lot of cardio, caffeine helps in a number of ways one of which is making it feel "easier".
