Guess I'll get straight into it.
I wanna lose 30lb in 13 weeks :nod: . Ooh I hear you saying :d_eek: , its going to be tough :db: but hopefully I can keep focused and reach as close to my goal as possible :claplow: . I mean even half way there would be great :nod: , but for the moment I'm 100% focused on being 195lb :flex: . (Sorry will stop playing like a child with the smilies :o )
My current stats are
Age - 20
Weight - 225lb
Bodyfay - 22%ish (see attached piccy)
Waist - 39
Hips - 39
Forearm - 12
Wrist - 7.5

Right my Basic eating program is going to be based on a 40/40/20 diet. I am however going to keep messing around with my cals.
My current BMR is 2266, so 2-3 days in a trot I am going to cut 500-1000 cals from this. The 4th day I will eat about 2500 cals to hopefully trick my body and keep metabolism high. I will probably be toying around with this for the next 13 weeks.
My Training is going to be
M - Legs, Abs + 13 HIIT
T - Back, Biceps + 13 HIIT
W - Abs, Run, starting on 4 miles, hope to increase distance 0.5 miles a week
T - Triceps, Shoulders, Pecs + 13 HIIT
F - Abs + 23 HIIT
S - Continious cardio, will vary week to week between running, cycling, rowing, swimming.
S - Abs + 23 HIIT
Other basic things I'm doing are Drinking at least 3l ice cold water per day, cutting alcohol down to an absolute minimum and making sure I make my workouts.
Cheat days are not going to be penciled in, instead when I think I'm on a bit of a plateau I'm going to have a day or 2 to remind by body what crap tastes like.
Hopefully I'll post here every day for the next 91 days. Wish me luck :gl:

DIET - Rubbish. What a bad start
11 am - Muesli 80g, 1/2 Cup Skim Milk, 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
5pm - 250g Steak Mince, Chilli Sauce, Grapefruit, Onion
Had a hectic day and didn't prep food in advance. Well you live you learn. Am gonna go cook tomorrows food now. At least I didnt go way overboard tho, and eat like 4000 cals, just about made 900.
Exercize - Walked uphill for 15 mins on treadmill on steepest gradient. Played around with weights but nothing too strenious (still recovering from injury).
On the whole feel good today. Plenty of nrg, got the workout out of the way nice and early. Overall its been a good day

Diet - 1900 cals today. Not sure about the ratios as I don't have my excel spreadsheet to hand but pretty sure it was 50c 40p 10f. Found it easy to stick to the diet today, hungry now but I'm about to go to sleep.
Exercize - 6 hours paintballing. Have some nice bruises. Am totally knackered. Who thought hiding behind a barrel getting the s**t shot out of you would be so exausting!
Generally today was another easy day to stick to my calorie plan. Partly I'm sure due to the fact I've been kept occupied all day. (Must confess tho some of the cals came from a burger from macdonalds, wasn't going to get one but would have gone without lunch otherwise. better then a full meal + sugary drink tho so I'll let myself off this once)
Looking forward to getting into the gym tomorrow morning altho my arms still hurt a little from yesterday. Think its just the fact its been a while since I've trained.

Diet - Went well today. Was a day of 3000 cals, all clean. Wel nearly, had a slice of pizza with my mate as an evening snack. Other then that kept it to about 50c/30p/20f.
Exercize - Was limited today. Had to start driving at crack of dawn so no room for morning cardio. Then had a family meal and mates to see. Ended up doing press ups and crunches (about 50pu and 100c). Will have a run tomorrow am to make up for today.
Today was a bit of a challenge to get all the cals in. 3000c of clean food is a hell of a lot. Going back to a cal deficit tomorrow for a few days. Hopefully will get a good mornings training in too.

Today was a bit of a failure. I had to go to my mates 21st and had to get very drunk and had to eat a 2am takeaway. Silly me
I did however manage 2 runs (4 miles and 1 mile) and apart form the takeaway eat fairly well.
No more big boozy nights for me now for a bit. Have to be good or will always be a fat git.

Monster hangover this morning. Shouldn't have drunk so much last night. Last big session on the booze for a long time. As a result my diet today was rubbish and I've been too ill to exercize.
Very annoyed really. Going to work hard tomorrow to get back on track.
Think I'll do 23 HIIT + Cycling + Legs on the weights. Will be sore tomorrow night but deserve it.
Anyway sleep time night night
medsean May 10th, 2004, 04:31 AM Just a quick post to record my new weight. I now weigh 220 pounds.
thats 5 pounds in the past five days. Got a feeling a load of that may be water loss but hey its off :D
Its got me in a real good mood. Gonna beast it at the gym later on today, keep this good loss going

My first major slackoff and its on day six. Totally crap. I'm writing this well annoyed at myself at 2.03am. Pity I couldn't have had this determination a few hours ago.
I'm not going to do what I've done every time since feb. I'm sick of starting again after a crap spell, tomorrow I will get back on track. If I don't have the balls to get back on track now I never will

End of my first week. Altogether not a total waste of time but a lot of room for improvement.
Diet - A nice clean 2000 cals today. Did eat more towards the end of the day tho.
Exercize - A good back and biceps session today. Love the post gym feeling when your muscels are all pumped up. Feel well hard :D
Will post some clean measurements first thing tomorrow see if I've made any noticeable progress!

Have seen pretty much no progress here but thats understandable after a rubbish week. Going to try and improve this week.
Am going to go kill myself on the cardio now.
I'm also changing my scales and using the ones at the gym. If I remember from last time i used that I'll probably be half a stone heavier but at least I'll get some consistancy.
Think I feel like HIIT rowing for 23 mins and erm maybee a run later on today. Anyway I'll let you know how I get on

Fell over and twatted my knee and its very sore :d_frown:
Didn't manage any cardio coz of this, still ate clean tho.

Went to see the doctor today about my sore knee. Took an xray and its all fine just swelling. Have been told to take iburprofin till swelling goes down. Does feel better today. Got a big bruise.
Ate a good clean 2000 cals today. Fingers crossed I'll be ok to be back in the gym tomorrow to do weights.

Felt much better today. Managed a full Pecs Triceps and shoulders session. Took about 2 hours, feeling good.
Ate nice and clean today, 2200 cals.
This weekend will be a bit bad as I've got a friend coming to stay. So we'll say days 11 + 12 are cheat days to hype up the metabolism. Going to try to manage a lil cardio each day, not including thrashing about the dancefloor like a fool :tucool:

Was a bad weekand as far as alcohol went. Hopefully I've not undone too much good work.
Did a ok leg session but didn't manage to complete it. The gym was far to busy and there were too many queues for the machienes. Rowed a few miles at the end as I couldn't finish the session.
Diet was a good 2000 cals but a lil 2 many of these were at night.
Just got real hungry :drool:

Currently weigh 220 pounds still. Know why this is, not being doing any cardio. Its quite a tough time at the moment as I've got my uni finals coming up so am stressed out with revision. It's another 10 days before I'm all done. My only concerns are eating properly and trying to do all my weights sessions, oh and passing my exams :d_wink:

Managed half an hour running today and yesterday. Diet has been a bit rubbish tho. Its so hard revisin hungry. Still only 9 days and thats it no more exams. EVER :D
